Parents of young school-age children are invited to join Rabbi Beraha and other parents for deepening conversations in people’s homes, for five separate evenings. Come to as many sessions as you can. No need to bring anything. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Register for each session here and please note the May 16 date change (formerly May 9).
From Rabbi Beraha: As a parent of young children I find it enriching to set apart time to think intentionally, with others, about who we are and what our purpose might be in this world. For a meaningful, purposeful life we must force ourselves to think outside of what my new favorite author Sarah Bakewell calls the “cozy digestive chambers of the mind” and instead, to think in the “dusty world of being.” Who are we? What are we? Why?
